Dataset Overview

This dataset provides the following files for studying YouTube video‑ad consumption behavior:

1. video‑ad‑exhibitions.csv

• Fields:
  • ad_id: Video ad identifier
  • watch-id: Video content identifier
  • skip_dur: Duration (seconds) the user skipped the ad; nan if the ad was watched completely

2. ads‑api.json

• Fields:
  • title: Video ad title
  • description: Video ad description
  • categoryId: Video ad category
  • duration: Video ad length
  • viewCount: Total views of the video ad
  • publishedAt: Upload date of the video ad

3. watch‑api.json

• Fields:
  • title: Video content title
  • description: Video content description
  • categoryId: Video content category
  • duration: Video content length
  • viewCount: Total views of the video content
  • channelId: Channel identifier associated with the video content

4. ads‑timeseries.json

• Content: Time‑series of daily view counts for each video ad
