SPIS-Resting-State-Dataset
A multimodal dataset containing EEG and frontal EOG for resting‑state analysis. This is a subset of the SPIS resting‑state EEG dataset. It includes 2.5 minutes of eyes‑open and 2.5 minutes of eyes‑closed resting‑state EEG, recorded with 64 Ag/AgCl active electrodes at 2048 Hz.

Dataset Overview
Dataset Name
SPIS‑Resting‑State‑Dataset
Description
This is a multimodal dataset containing EEG and frontal EOG for resting‑state analysis. It is a subset of the SPIS resting‑state EEG dataset.
Experiment Description
- Background: The data were recorded prior to a continuous 105‑minute attention‑reaction task with fixed sequences and varying ISIs.
- Content: Each recording includes 2.5 minutes of eyes‑open (EO) and 2.5 minutes of eyes‑closed (EC) resting‑state EEG.
- Acquisition: Recorded with 64 Ag/AgCl active electrodes placed according to the international 10‑10 system, sampled at 2,048 Hz.
- Timing: Sessions were conducted in the early afternoon to encourage a drowsy brain state.
File Format
- Type: All files are saved as Matlab version 7.3 *.mat files.
- Processing: Raw data were down‑sampled from 2,048 Hz to 256 Hz.
Electrode Layout
- EEG Electrodes: Channels 1‑64 correspond to monopolar EEG channels (e.g., Fp1, AF7, etc.).
- EOG Electrodes: Channels 65‑67 are three surface EOG electrodes placed at the outer canthi and mid‑brow.
- Trigger Channel: Channel 68 is the trigger channel; value 200 indicates eyes‑open, 220 indicates eyes‑closed.
Acquisition Hardware
Data were recorded with a 64‑channel Biosemi Active‑2 amplifier; raw signals are in microvolts.
