Dataset Description

• Name: Pima Indians Diabetes Database
• Source: UCI Machine Learning Repository
• Content: Contains multiple medical predictor variables and a target variable (Outcome) indicating diabetes status (1 = diabetic, 0 = non‑diabetic).

Dataset Files

• health care diabetes.csv: Data used for training and evaluation.
• Final_Project_Diabetes.ipynb: Jupyter notebook with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
• app.py: FastAPI web application for making predictions with the trained model.

Usage

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/diabetes-prediction.git
   

2. Install required libraries:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

3. Run the Jupyter notebook Final_Project_Diabetes.ipynb to explore analysis and model building.
4. Run the FastAPI app:

   python app.py
   

5. Access http://localhost:8000 to interact with the prediction interface.
