Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Dataset

Data Sources

• Data were scraped from the official Olympic website, as the information is not provided as open data. Most content is hidden behind a React front‑end, making direct access difficult. Data generation code resides in the ./recipes directory.
• Resulting data are automatically refreshed every 10 minutes.

Data Files

• datasets/medals.csv: Detailed information for all medals, including athlete, event, and discipline.
• datasets/medallists.csv: Lists all medalists with medal counts and country codes.
• datasets/medal_countries.wide.auto.csv: Country‑wise medal tallies.
• datasets/medal_countries.long.auto.csv: Same information in long format, with each row representing a country and medal color.
